2024-2025 Season Auditions 

Based out of Abingdon, VA, Southern Appalachian Dance Collective is a 501(c)(3) suitcase-style company that has performed at several venues around the Southwest Virginia and East Tennessee area. Originally known as Olina Dance Collective, Southern Appalachian Dance Collective was re-established by Olivia Ratliff and is gearing towards its 3rd season!

Auditions for Performing Artist positions will be held on Sunday, September 11th, 10am-12pm at Southern Appalachian Dance Center. Please prepare for a hour long ballet class, pointe work (if applicable), and a contemporary combination.

Benefits of being a Performing Artist

Performance Resume Growth

Performing Artists have several opportunities to perform in small and large-scale productions. The performing season includes a fall school tour, a holiday performance, a spring school tour, and a spring production with a mix of new and classical repertoire. 

Performance Stipends

Presently, we do not offer any full-time positions, but we do offer stipends for performance work. Amount is dependent on performance and duration. 

Free Classes/Master Classes

Train as much or as little as you need to! We have an array of class offerings through Southern Appalachian Dance Center and master classes with renowned instructors. Use these classes as you see fit.
